Funeral service for David L. Clements, 68 of Hanceville will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Hanceville Funeral Home chapel with burial following at Mt. Hebron Cemetery near Blountsville. David died Saturday, Aug. 25th in a Birmingham hospital.
Family will receive friends Monday beginning at noon.
 
The son of the late Burl and Marie Arrington Clements was a retired truck driver who enjoyed watching nature, fishing and working on vehicles. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.
 
He is survived by his wife, Linda. Stepsons, Eric and Keith Walker, Grandchildren; Nicholas and Hollie Walker, Brothers; Benny, Earl, Hayden and Jerome Clements, Sisters; Jean Baker and Vickie Fort.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul David Clements.

Funeral services for Ruthie Burrow, 98 of Walter will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 22nd at Hanceville Funeral Home chapel. Interment following at Duck River Cemetery.  Family will receive friends Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 at the funeral home.

Born July 29, 1920 to Robert Lee Glenn and Banie Tankersley, she is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Nichols, of Walter, Al., and Clois Cocke, of Hanceville, two grandchildren, Scott Nichols, and Melissa (Rex) Graves, one Great Grandchild, Peyton Nichols, five sisters, Eva Phillips, Tressie "Tiny" Wright, Obera Mckinney, Jean Wright, and Patricia Abercrombie, and sister-in-law, Ruby Glenn.

Funeral services for Fay Green Tucker, 81, of Hanceville will be held at 11a.m. (in state from 10 a.m.) Thursday, August 23 at Center Hill Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery.  Hanceville Funeral Home directing.  Her family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home .
 
The daughter of the late Luke and Una Fullerton Green passed away Saurday, August 18, 2018 in Hanceville.
is survived by daughters; Renee King, Michelle (Glenn) Morton and  Monica (Joe) Blalock.
Step daughter, Tina Noonan.
Grandchildren; Derek, Seth, Justin, Cody, Clayton, Cameron, Alee and David.
Step grandchildren; Kathleen, Tyler, Kimberlee and Kalleeann.

Funeral Services for Robert Raymond Rogers 91, of Oneonta will be 11a.m. Wednesday, August 15th at the Hanceville Funeral Home chapel. Interment following at South Cemetery in Blountsville. Visitaion will be Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 at the funeral home.
           The son of the late Fred and Vella Boren Rogers is survived by his wife, Ann B. Rogers; Sons, Robert "Bob" (Cathy) Rogers and William "Tim" Rogers.  Grandchildren, Jeremy, John and Anna Rogers; Great Granddaugher, Abrielle Perry; Brothers Ralph Eck Rogers and Tommie Wayne Rogers as well as a sister, Laura Beavers.
          He was preceded in death by brothers and sister, James Fred, William H., Marvin C.,  and Kathleen.
Brady Benton Fine, 66 of Hanceville went to be with the Lord August 12, 2018. Brady was born April 22, 1952 in Cullman. A 46 year employee of Cook's Pest Control he got to know many people and loved being around them. He loved his job and was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church in Good Hope.
          He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James Fine and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Fine.  Sons; Joey (Tammy) Fine of Prattville and Jason Fine of Morris. A daughter, Jenifer (Shawn) Kennett of Orange Beach, Stepdaughters; Andrea (Stephen) Spears of Athen, Laina Goodwin of Cullman and Kelly (Robbie) Walker of Cullman. Also surviving are his mother, Kathleen Fine; Nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister, Janice Cason; Brothers, Bobby Fine, Kenneth (Cathy) Fine and Tim (Marlene) Fine.
          Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, August 16th at Living Faith Baptist Church (in state from 12 noon).  Interment following at Shelton Grove Cemetery.  Hanceville Funeral Home directing.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Funeral Services for Sandra Jo Green,71 of Hanceville will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Trueman Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville.  Visitation will be Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral Home.
 
The daughter of James E. and Nellie E. Elsberry Brown was born  in Cullman on September 21, 1946. She passed on August 11, 2018 in Cullman after a brief illness.
 
She is survived by her mother, Nellie Brown; Children, Craig Green of Panama City Beach, Fl, Harlan (Martha) Green) of Phelan and Kelly (Chris) Lambert of Cullman.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother, Doc Brown of Hanceville.

Anna Crider

Anna Lou Schmidt Crider, 86, went to her heavenly father August 7, 2018, at the Oaks at Parkwood. She was born on September 21, 1931 to Fred C. and Bernie Schmidt in Hanceville, Alabama.
 
She was actively engaged in her church, St. Paul's Lutheran, in Decatur, Alabama and served the Lutheran Women's Missionary League for many years. Ann was a faithful servant to God, and her family and faith were her passion. A loving mother and homemaker, Ann was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, especially her prized peanut brittle and heath bar cake. She and her husband Duron adopted a 3rd grade class at Austinville Elementary School for many years, visiting monthly with snacks and other treats. Ann was selfless in helping others in need and she made everyone feel welcome and loved in her home.
 
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Duron Crider, her daughters, Debra Crider (Chris) Besant, and Julie Crider (Austin) Hucks, her son Darryl (Lesley) Crider, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Don Schmidt and Carl "Bud" Schmidt, and three sisters, Dottie Becker, Evelyn Hayes, and Brenda Long.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bernie Schmidt, three sisters Earline Doss, Nell Brown, and Catherine Wilson and one brother, Wally Schmidt.
 
Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hanceville, Alabama at 12:00 noon Saturday August 11, 2018, with a funeral service celebrating her life to follow at 2:00 PM. Prayers will follow at gravesisde
 
Pall bearers will be Chris Besant, Austin Hucks, Chad Besant, Trent Crider, Nick Donegan, and Anthony Hayes,
 
Memorials or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Oneal Shelton

Mr. Oneal Shelton, 89, passed away Monday August 6, 2018. He was born on July 31, 1929 to Ellis Shelton and Vallie Wilbanks. Services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Shelton Grove Baptist Church at Two O'clock PM, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Shelton was an evangelist and spent time with American Indian tribes. He served in the United States Army in the Korean war as a Combat Construction Specialist, 20 miles into North Korea.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice Shelton, children, Lyndon Oneal (Jackie) Shelton, Cheryl (John) Dyer, and Lewis Dean Shelton; a brother Clyde Shelton, sisters, Kathleen Fine, Christine Lecroy, and Allie Cordis; 10 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren.
