Graveside funeral services for Norma Gibbs Compton will be at Hopewell Cemetery Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 am with Bro. Tom Hammons, Jr. officiating.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Norma Compton, 92, of Hanceville passed away on September 20, 2018 at Woodland Village Healthcare.
Ms. Compton was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Compton; parents, M. M. and Lena Clements Gibbs; brother, James M. "Bud" (Mae) Gibbs; sisters, Mildred (Robert) Griffith and Rilla (C.L./Pickey) Waldrop; brother-in-law, Claud Grantham. Survivors include her son, Tim Compton; a sister, Jonnie Grantham; nephews, Johnny (Ginger) Grantham and Mike (Sonya) Gibbs; nieces, Ginger (Van) Black and Susan (Robert) Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cullman Humane Society or the church or charity of your choice.
