Funeral Services for Ealon A. Linkous, 78, of Cullman, AL will be 11 O'clock A.M. Monday December 30, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Valley Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome guests for a visitation from 5:30 P.M. until 8 O'clock P.M. Sunday December 29 at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Linkous was self-employed and owned and operated Valley Grove Grocery. She is the daughter to the late Wendell and Novel (Hancock) Kugler.
Mrs. Linkous is survived by her four children, Randy Hollis, Mitch Hollis, Kelly Hollis and Tracey (Wayne) Reburn; grandchildren, Kyle, Taylor, Nathan, Stephanie and Tori Hollis; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Cason, Lorelai, Dakota, Colten and Caleb Hollis; brothers, Guy Kugler and Stan (Diane) Kugler.
Mrs. Linkous is preceded in death by her husband John T. Linkous and two brothers, Terry and Marshall Kugler.
Memorial Services for James Michael "Jimmy" Johnston, 59, of Hayden, AL will be 11 O'clock A.M. December 28, 2019 at Charis Community Church located in Hanceville, Alabama with services led by Reverend Randy Mahaffey.
Mr. Johnston was a supervisor for Willoughby Roofing for many years. He enjoyed working and spending time with his loving family. Mr. Johnston will be missed by many.
Mr. Johnston is survived by his grandson Ryan Johnston; step-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Gavin, and Chaz; siblings; Linda (Brad) Reinhold of Turlock, CA, David (Ginger) Johnston of Vinemont, AL, Marsha Price of Holy Pond, AL, and Diane (Jeff) Wright of Hayden, AL.
Mr. Johnston is preceded in death by his son Michael Johnston, sister Carolyn Johnston and his parents Joseph and Annie (Tolbert) Johnston.

Memorial Services for Larry Vail Hall, 33, of Hanceville, AL. will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 28, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Hall was a selfless and compassionate individual who loved nothing more than to be surrounded by the family and friends he thought so highly of. Mr. Hall was an employee of TQI where he worked as a box handler for several years. His job was his passion and he desired nothing more than to be at work everyday. He was a huge Alabama Football fan and loved his president, Donald J. Trump. Mr. Hall is loved and will be missed by everyone.

The family will welcome friends for a visitation from 6 O'clock P.M. to 8 O'clock P.M. Thursday December 19, 2019.
Mrs. White was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and business owner. Mrs. White owned and operated Martha White's Kitchen located in Phelan. From there she relocated and started Garden City Café. Cooking was her passion. She enjoyed prepping, cooking, and serving hot meals to anyone who walked through her doors; especially those she loved so dearly within the Hanceville and Garden City communities. Everyone that knew Mrs. White knows she was a beautiful and loving woman and will be missed by many.
Mrs. White leaves behind her two children Rhonda (Marlowe) Jett and Stephen Harold White; three grandchildren, Christopher Harold Purdy, Jessica Ann White, and John Paul White; seven great grandchildren including Madelyn Elizabeth Purdy who was always known as "Maw Maw's Boss Lady"; three siblings, Myra Estes, Faye Brown and James Murcks as well as a host of loved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband Harold White; siblings, Milton Murcks, Ola Taylor, Magdeline England, Jimmy Murcks and Jerry Murcks; and parents Melvin and Etta (Smith) White.

Funeral services for Maxie "Max" Arnell Doty will be 1 O'clock P.M. Saturday December 14, 2019 at Riverside Baptist Church located in Hanceville, AL. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will welcome friends for a visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 O'clock A.M. at Riverside Church. Mr. Doty was born June 8, 1946 and died December 11, 2019
Mr. Doty grew up in Cullman County and spent the majority of his life within the Walter Community. He had a strong love for his community and was involved with several activities including being on the water board and working with the Walter Fire Department for many years. Mr. Doty retired from Greif Brothers also enjoyed being on his farm where he raised poultry and cattle. Mr. Doty was a generous and kind hearted man. He loved being able to get out and help his neighbors in time of need. Mr. Doty will be missed very much by several family members and his community.
Mr. Doty is survived by his wife of many years, Frances Doty; sons, Jason, Brandon (Shannon), Ashley (Sara) Doty; grandchildren, Zachary, Olivia, Alyssa, and Carter Doty, his brother, Terry Doty; his mother Ruth Doty; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bobby Allen Curtis born November 12, 1943, in Lawrence County, Alabama, to Robert Allen and Virginia Miller Curtis. He died November 17, 2019, in Cullman, Alabama. He retired from the Cullman County Sheriff's Office with 25 years as a deputy and 8 years as a reserve deputy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth Curtis; two nephews, Allen Curtis and Blake Landers.
Survived by two sons; Jeff (Susie) and Jason(Carla) Curtis, Sherron Miller, mother of his children and partner, one sister; Jewel (Nathaniel) Waits, Three brothers; Charles (Betty) Curtis, Dannie Curtis, Dennis (Kathy) Curtis, sister-in-law Sarah Curtis, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Joyce Dean Mann, 67, of Hanceville Alabama will be 3 O'clock P.M. Friday November 15, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Grove Congregational Cemetery located in Hanceville. Reverends Heath Riggs and Matt Griffin will be officiating. Mrs. Mann was a nurse in the healthcare industry for many years.
Mrs. Mann is survived by her son Jason Tyree (Savann) Mann; grandchildren, Tristan Kade Mann, Troy Ellis Mann and Magnus Tallon Mann; a sister Fay Yearwood and a brother-in-law James Yearwood. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Nellie (Stone) Johns.

Funeral Services for Barbara Sue Scott Johns affectionately known as "Grannybob" will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday November 13 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Barbara worked at Nicholson File for 34 years as a machine operator. She was also the longest active member (70 years) at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johns is survived by her children Linda Johns Quick, James Alan (Angela) Johns, and Michael Anthony Johns. Grandchildren include Brandon (Kerry) Quick, Brittney (Robyn) Canady, Brent Quick, Shawna Manning, Amanda Johns, Scott (Brooke) Johns, Kimberly Johns, Will (Tesla) Johns and Katie Johns. Mr. Moore was born in Jefferson County and was retired from the coal industry.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Moore, a daughter, Cindy (Hilton) Mullins, and two sons, Bobby (Kathy) Moore and James Moore. Mrs. Rogers was born on April 12, 1938, in Hayden, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents Onis and Imogene (Turner) Thomas. Mrs. Rogers was a Health Care worker.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday September 7 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Matt Smith and Sam Hollis, of Eastside Baptist Church will be officiating. Mrs. Roger will be laid to rest at the Nectar Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday September 6, 2019 at the funeral home.

Jean Campbell Hall of Hayden, Alabama 92, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2019 at Hanceville Nursing Home.
Mrs. Hall was born on December 11, 1926 in Blount County. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe B. Hall. They raised 3 sons - David (Pat) Hall, Daniel (Pat) Hall, Jeff (Kim) Hall.
She is preceded in death by one sister & three brothers & survived by her sister Carole Melton.
She had six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was a lifetime member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on September 4, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home from ten o'clock to eleven o'clock with funeral at Hanceville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.
