Funeral Services for Phillip "Buddie" Green, 65, of Hanceville will be 2 O'clock P.M. Saturday July 27, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Blount County. Visitation will be Saturday July 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Green was a retired transportation professional.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Betty (Baker) Green, children Christy Johnson (Scott Bartlett), Phillip (Paige) Green, Allen (Belinda) Green and Jessica (Jonathen) Harper. Stepchildren include Garry (Kristi) Baker, Tammy (Gery) Fuller and Tracy (Kelvin) Shoemaker.. Mr. Green has seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Other survivors include his brother Roger Green, a sister Martha (Freddy) Gilliland and  a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Green is preceded by his parents Harvey and Robbie Lou (Johnson) Green.

Funeral Services for Jimmy Davis, 81, of Hanceville will be 2 O'clock P.M. Thursday July 25, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in West Point, AL. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday July 24, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Davis is survived by his children Connie (Jay) Jensen and Phillip (Rhonda) Davis; four grandchildren Stephany Drewry, Bridgette Jensen, Hannah Davis and Jordan Davis; One Great-Grandchild Tayah Drewry; his brother Winfred Davis and his sister Carolyn Hudson.

 

Mr. Davis is preceded by his wife Nellie Faye.


Funeral Services for Nelda Faye Fox,  80 of Cullman, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanceville. Pastor John Jankens will officiate. Mrs. Fox will be laid to rest at the Cullman Memory Gardens, Cullman, Alabama. Visitation will be at the Hanceville Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 24 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

 Mrs. Fox is survived by two daughters; Cindy Jones and Lisa (David) Blaylock, A host of nieces and nephews, Grandchildren; Cassie (Brent) Bowen, Tyler (Nina) Jones, Great Grandchildren; Colter and Cannon Bowen, and Addison and Cole Jones. Other family members include a brother; Walter (Jane) Johnson, bother-in-law, Marion (Virginia) Fox, and sisters-in-law; Freida Fox, Bobbie Johnson and Martha (Gordon) Blanton.

Mrs. Fox who preferred to be called Faye is preceded in death by her husband Allen Fox and son, Jeff Fox. Parents Alex and Alice (Pender) Johnson, brothers; Gene Johnson, Wallace Johnson, Pete Johnson, and Milton (Nell) Johnson, two sisters; Betty Kovach and Othelia (Floyd) Briscoe. A bother-in-law, Michael Fox and son-in-law Frankie Jones.

Mr. Curtis Allen Brown, 67 of Hartselle, passed July 16th, 2019.
Mr. Brown was born to Asa and Sue (Powell) Brown of Graysville, Alabama on January 21, 1952.

Visitation will be Saturday July 20, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home at 5:30 p.m. and services will be Sunday July 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Reverend Greg Barbee will be officiating.

Mr. Brown was employed in the food industry as a chef.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Brown, two daughters, a brother, Wayne Brown, two sisters, Ruth Brown and Gloria Bush, two sisters-in-law, Gayla Trussell and Debra Cook. Mr. Brown also leaves two very special grandchildren, Alie Mann and Tony Williams and an equally special great grandchild, Zander Williams.

Services for Mr. Billy Ray Pitts 80, of Hanceville will be 3 p.m. Sunday July 7, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m., Saturday July 6 at the Funeral Home. Mr. Pitts will be laid to rest at the Fairview West Cemetery with Reverend Doug Pitts officiating. Mr. Pitts died Thursday, July 4, 2019 after an extended illness.

Mr. Pitts is survived by a daughter, Sheila (Rodney) Morgan and son Phillip (Shelley) Pitts both of Hanceville, two brothers, Roger Pitts and Willie (Elaine) Pitts. Grandchildren include Justin (Monica) Morgan, Briona (Ervin) Wilbanks, Erica (Jeff) Watts, and Madison (Brandon) Tanner. Great grandchildren include Ily Wilbanks, Mia Wilbanks, Cooper Morgan, Trayla Tanner, Lansen Tanner, Crimson Watts and Jay Jay Watts.

Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Ann Pitts, sister Betty (Howard) Black, Jean Ann Pitts and grandson Chase Winfrey and parents.

Funeral service for Betty Rider, 77, of Hanceville will be 4 O'clock p.m. Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. We will have a burial following the service at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home starting at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to the services.

 Mrs. Rider is survived by her husband William Rider, three children Sharon (Doug) Davenport, Ronda (Chris) Callaway and Dewayne Rider, grandchildren Justin Davenport, Kyle (Lynsey) Davenport, Blake Callaway, Deanna Rider and Reenon Rider, great grandchildren Kylee McNeeley, Lincoln Davenport and Gavin Davenport, her brother Holmer (Dolly) Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Mrs. Betty Rider is preceded in death by her parents Ephron and Kate (Powers) Davis, two brothers James Davis and Richard Davis and her sisters Ruth Nail, Nellie Armstrong and Linnie Quick.


Funeral Services for Mildred Louis Copeland will be July 3, 2019 11 a.m. at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be July 2, at 5:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Reverends Philip Wigley and Jimmy Sawyer presiding.
