Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth Elaine Russell, 91, of Hayden, Alabama will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 1, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 1:30 pm, Sunday, September 1, at the funeral home. Reverend Scott Arnold will officiate and burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Russell is survived by daughters, Donna (Larry) Grantham, Leigh Anne Russell, sons, Jerrold (Melanie) Russell, Terry (Cindi) Russell, nephews, Mike Hines, Barry Hines and Evan Hines. Mrs. Russell leaves thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Mrs. Russell is preceded in death by her husband Derrol Russell, daughter, Sherry Dake, great granddaughter Aubrey Russell and brother, Harold Hines. She is the daughter of the late Floyd and Pearl (Quick) Hines.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested for donations to be made to Fischer Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation at Alzinfo.org

Mrs. Braswell is survived by her children Dianne James of Cullman, AL, Barbara Bowden of Hueytown, AL, Britt Braswell of Cullman, AL and Randy Braswell of Cullman, AL. She also has four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as a sister Gloria Jones of Ashland, AL.

Mrs. Braswell is preceded in death by her husband Brinton Braswell.

Funeral services for Grady Thomas Mullins 81, of Hanceville, will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for friends will be  6 to 8 p.m, Saturday, August 24 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Laodicea Cemetery, Hanceville with Reverend Dennis Reeves officiating.

 

Mr. Mullins was originally from Sherman, Texas and was retired from the freight line industry. He is survived by two daughters; Joquitta (Randy) Posey and Shannon (Jerry) Perkins, and son; Grady Onzo  of Las Vegas, Nevada. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Hunter Perkins, Jayden Perkins, Landon Perkins and Taylor Perkins, a sister; Peggy Davis of Grand Prairie, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Mr. Mullins is preceded in death by his wife Linda Mullins and parents Grady and Mary (Whiteside) Mullins.

Funeral services for Ethelene Normand, 99, of Cullman will be 10 O'clock Thursday August 22, 2019 at Bethlehem East Church. Interment will follow at Pawnee Cemetery at 12 O'clock noon. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday August 21 at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Normand, the widow of the late Reverend Lawrence Normand, passed peacefully at her home at the age of 99.

Mrs. Normand is survived by her children Anthony (Claudia) Normand, Cullman, AL, and David (Patti) Normand, Marietta, GA, and two grandchildren Kimberly Normand, Austin, TX, and Patrick Normand, Acworth, GA.

Mrs. Normand is preceded in death by her husband Reverend Lawrence Normand, her siblings Gracie Tompkins and Fred, Alton, Chester and Leslie Boren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers Debbie Nix, Janice Holmes, Mary Jo Parker and all other staff of Cullman Regional Medical Center Hospice.

 Mrs. Johnson is survived by her companion Marvin McMurray; her children Kathrina Weems, Serrya Forester, Chris Johnson and Jenny Glover; grandchildren Dustin (Lindsey) Forester, Samantha (Jessie) Smith and Kyle (Nicole) Weems; great grandchildren Mason Estes-Forester, Jackston Forester, Branson Forester, Jessie Wayne Smith and Leila Smith; siblings Robbie Scott, Geraldine Peppers, Sarah (Theodore) Jones and Dennis (Alice) Robeson.

 Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband Dewey Johnson; parents Clara and James Robeson; sisters Katherine Clements, Judy Robeson, Martha Robeson and a brother Totsie Robeson.

Funeral Services for Kristopher Lyn Griffin, 34, of Cullman will be 2 O'clock P.M. Wednesday August 7, 2019 at Ryan's Creek Baptist Church, Bremen, Alabama. Burial will follow at the Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday August 6, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Griffin was a decorated U.S. Army veteran serving in Iraq Operation Freedom. He   is survived by a son Ethan Lane Griffin; two sisters Julie Ann Marie Minor (Jason Aderhold), Virginia (Colton) Boatwright; a nephew Alexander Aaron Curtis; parents Samuel and Sheila Aaron; grandparents Judy Page and Linda Phillips and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

 

Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by his grand parents Alfred Aaron and Harvey Lee Griffin.
