Funeral Services for Robert "Bobby" Rogers, 83, of Cullman, AL., will be 2 O'clock P.M. Thursday October 31, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will welcome friends for a visitation prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1 O'clock P.M. and lasting until 2 O'clock P.M.

Mr. Rogers, formerly known as "Bobby" worked several years in the maintenance field at an apartment complex.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 64 years, Melbaline Rogers; children Frankie Marlow, Eugene Rogers, Elwood Rogers, and Helen Brooks; 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; a sister Betty Horrell, and a brother Jimmy Rogers

Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his parents Robert Rogers Sr. and Doris (Galloway) Rogers.

Funeral services for Kenneth Lynn "Kenny" Phillips, 62, of Cullman, will be 1 p.m., Wednesday October 30, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home, Tuesday beginning at 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Reverend Caleb Elrod will be officiating. Burial will be at the Duck River Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Phillips was the son of the late William O. Phillips. "Kenny" as his family and friends knew him had worked in the automobile repair industry as a diesel mechanic.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Shelia Kay Phillips of Cullman, his mother, Eva Phillips of Walter, Alabama, two brothers, Melvin Phillips of Athens, Alabama, Robert Phillips of Ardmore, Alabama and a grandson, Gabriel Lee Sams of Huntsville, Alabama.

Mr. Phillips is preceded in death by his daughter April Christina Sams and his father William O. Philips.

Funeral services for William Lee Sanders, 60, of Hanceville, will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday October 27, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home, Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m. until 3:00 pm. Close friend and pastor Hilda Walker and Andy Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be at the Garden City Cemetery. Mr. Sanders was the son of the late Billy Ray and Virginia Fay Sanders. He had been disabled for some time. Mr. Sander's was engaged to Miss Delinda Bliss.

Mr. Sander is survived by Miss Bliss and his brother Larry Sanders as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Mr. Sanders is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray and Virginia Fay Sanders, a brother Tommy Sanders, grandparents Julius and Vera Johnson, aunt and uncle Nelva and Roland Johnson.

Funeral services for Rollan Frank Edwards, 75, of Cullman, AL will be 2 O'clock P.M. Saturday October 26, 2019 at Shelton Grove Baptist Church located in Hanceville, Al. Burial will follow at Shelton Grove Cemetery. The family will welcome friends for a visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 O'clock noon.

 Mr. Edwards was the son of the late Monroe and Lily (Blaylock) Edwards. He retired from the Cullman County School System serving many years at Garden City Elementary School. Also, Mr. Edwards served several positions within the community of Hanceville, Al.

 Mr. Edwards is survived by his three sisters Mary Powell, Melba Hipp, Clarcie Jones; a brother Douglas "Buck" Edwards and a host of several nieces and nephews.

 Mr. Edwards is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Hazel McPherson.

Funeral services for William Curtis Cantrell, 68, of Hanceville, will be 11:00 a.m., Sunday October 20, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home Saturday, beginning at 5:30 until 8:00 pm. Mr. Cantrell was the son of the late Roland and Elenor Cantrell. He worked at the Paper Mill Company having held several different positions.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his daughter Jennifer Marie Shoemaker, step-children include Jerry, Ricky, Michael, Krystal, Leigh Hamm and Zelda Brown, a grandson Devan Johnson, a sister Marion Eloise Stafford and soul mate Linda Patterson.

Mr. Cantrell is preceded in death by wife Deelia Hamm, step-son Don Hamm, grandson Blake Johnson and sister Marlene Windsor.

Graveside services for Nora J James, 88, of Hanceville will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday October 20, 2019 at Sulphur Springs Cemetery located in Hayden, AL. Mrs. James was the daughter of the late Walter and Ada (Coffman) Millican. Mrs. James was a former bank teller at Amsouth Bank.

Mrs. James is survived by her daughters Camilla (Randy) Slogan & Sheila Malone, grandchildren Kristi (Neal) Brooks, Andy (Nicole) Roan and Michelle (Jeff) Thomas; sisters, Correne Lewis and Wynell Neely; twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sisters Ednelle Watson and Venita Gardener and a brother Carl Millican.

Graveside services for Edith M. Dean, 95, of Hanceville will be 11:30 Saturday October 19, 2019 at Arkadelphia Cemetery located in Hanceville, AL. Her family will welcome friends for a visitation prior to the service at Hanceville Funeral Home from 10 O'clock to 11 O'clock.

Mrs. Dean was the daughter of the late Alton Therlow and Anna Mae (Creel) Cone. Mrs. Dean served as Nutrition Manager for many years at the Colony Senior Citizen organization.

Mrs. Dean is survived by her daughters; Joan Hill, Dot Mays, Patricia Ponder and Beverly Dean, a sister; Ethelene Woods, a sister-in-law; Sharron Cone, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by her husband; S.A. Dean, a son; Paul Nelan Dean, a grandson; Kevin Paul Dean; 2 sisters; Pauline Ballard and Evelyn Goodwin and 3 brothers; Robert Cone, David Cone and Buddy Cone.

Funeral services Alpha Ervalean Edwards, 83, of Cullman, Alabama will be 11 O'clock A.M. Friday October 4, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Her family will start welcoming friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. Friday October 4, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Cullman Catholic Cemetery following the funeral service.

Alpha was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Ervin and Elizabeth Boyd in 1935. Alpha had attained an Associates Degree and was employed by Greyhound Bus Company as a welder.

Alpha is survived by her three children, Joseph Ervin Fromhold, Susan Myria Miller and Elizabeth Arlene Busby, her sister, Laqueta Whilcamp, five grandchildren, Michael Miller, Alexandria J. Bushby, Brittany Jordan and Samantha Fromhold, great grandchildren include Arleanna Graben and Avery Miller.

Alpha is preceded in death by her parents Ervin and Elizabeth Boyd, and siblings Dairl Boyd and Bonnie Bartlett.

Funeral services for James T. Jones, 73, of Blountsville, Alabama will be 11 O'clock A.M. Saturday October 5, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in West Point, Alabama. His family will start welcoming friends for a visitation beginning at 5:30 P.M. Friday October 4, 2019 at the funeral home.

 Mr. Jones was a long-time brick mason and was also self-employed for years. He leaves behind a great and wonderful loving family.

 Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Maria Jones; children, Sharron Jones (Mark Dabbs), Regina Nix, Charlene (Tony) Price, Rhonda (Frankie) Peek, David Jones, Teresa Jones, and Joe (Liz) Eveland; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Quick and Lenita Bynum; and two brothers, Johnny Wayne Jones and Harold Jones.

 Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents Johnny Clyde and Una Christine (Williams) Jones; also 3 brothers, Meryl, Darrel, and Martin Jones.
