Funeral services for Francis R. Harrington 86, of Hanceville, Alabama will be two p.m. Tuesday November 26 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday November 26, prior to funeral service. Reverend Jimmy Sawyer will be officiating.

Mrs. Harrington is the daughter of the late D.R. and Verna Mae (Burgess) Roberts and is originally from Blount County.  Mrs. Harrington worked in retail sales.

Survivors include daughter, Janice (Ken) Bates, sisters, Virginia Leighber of Hanceville, Sarah Miller of Vinemont, Rena Meade of Garden City and Jean Copland of Blountsville. Grandchildren include Alyssa (Jamie) Jones, Matthew (Heather) Bass and Roxanne (Michael) Green, great grandchildren, Marliegh Green, Monroe Green and Rowan Bass.

Mrs. Harrington is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Harrington, a son, Ronnie Lindsey and brother, Frank Roberts.
