Funeral services for Mr. Claud Day, aged 86 of Hanceville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday November 24 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dennis Reeves will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home, 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Day had been a fabricator at Alter Utility Manufacturing, held an Associates Degree and was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. 

Mr. Day is survived by his son Leon (Carolyn) Day of New York City, New York, two sisters, Mary Burns of Hanceville and Loraine Day of Birmingham and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Day is preceded in death by his parents John Alton and Jura (Nichols) Day.
