Funeral services for Milton Oliver Sinyard, 97, of Walter, AL will be 1 O'clock P.M. at Duck River Baptist Church located in Walter, AL. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will welcome guests for a vistiation prior to the service from 11 O'clock A.M. to 1 O'clock P.M.
Milton Oliver Sinyard, passed away at his home January 8, 2020. He was born July 4, 1922 in Jefferson County, AL. to Matthew E. Sinyard and Trissie Hinkle Sinyard.
Mr. Sinyard is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 70 years, Melba Reid Sinyard, his sisters Omie Wynelle Day, Mavis Nuss, Margie Bice and brothers (infant) Marion Jerome Sinyard and Mancel Edith Sinyard.
Mr. Sinyard is survived by his daughters, Barbara Ann (Jerry) Rowe and Donna Marlene Sinyard; grandchildren, Michael Steven Rowe and Kelly (Mark) Ash; great-grandchildren, Brittany (Nate) Terrell, Finn Ash, Chatham Ash, and Hollings Ash; brother, Milford (Mona) Sinyard; sister, Willene Franklin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sinyard is a veteran of the United States Army having served honorably during World War II, both in the United States of America and as a participant in six battle campaigns in the African and European Theaters of Operation.
Mr. Sinyard owned and operated Sinyard Garage in Cullman, Alabama before retiring.
