Funeral services for Stella M. Duke, 74, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 10 O'clock A.M. Wednesday July 1, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Duck River Cemetery in Walter. The family will welcome guests for a visitation on Tuesday evening, June 30, beginning at 6 O'clock P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Duke is survived by her children, Greg (Kerry) Duke and Doug (Ann) Duke; grandchildren, Keighley Thompson, Hailey "Skye" Thompson, Ashley Duke, and Tanner Duke.
Mrs. Duke is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. "Lala" Duke; son, Randall Keith Duke; and parents, Harrison and Autha (Knighten) Wingo.
Funeral services for June Loyd Butts, 83, of Walter, Alabama will be 3 O'clock P.M. Saturday June 20, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home. Reverend Gary Waddell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Duck River Cemetery in Walter. Visitation will be from 1 O'clock P.M. to 3 O'clock P.M. Saturday prior to the service.
Mrs. Butts is survived by her husband, Franklin D Butts; son, Stuart (Claudia) Butts; grandchildren, Kylie Butts, and Sean Butts; sister, Ellen Harris; brother, Harold Loyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Butts is preceded in death by her son, Steven Butts, and parents, Therman and Leona (Herndon) Loyd.
On June 16, 2020 Jacqueline "Jackie" Moore, 64, graduated from life on earth and is now living in Eternity with our Heavenly Father. Jackie was born in San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Hanceville High Class of 1974 after moving from Woodlawn High in Birmingham. She met and married the love of her life Randy "Bulldog" Moore after graduating.
Jackie was preceded by grandparents Will and Martha Mayfield and Cecil and Bobbie Quick. Survived by husband, Randy Moore. Parents Mabra Mayfield Hulsey along with Bill (Betty) Quick. Her children Nikki (David) Hamner, Derek (Jessica) Moore, Shelby Taylor Moore and Dylan Jackson Moore. Grandchildren Payge Moore, Derek Moore Jr., and AJ Mitchell. Sisters Ginger (Charles) Gamble and Tammy (Ken) Harman.
Jackie and Randy lived in Georgia for most of their married life where they were avid "horse folks." Jackie and Randy owned and operated the Windy Hill Quarter Horse Farm in Hahira, GA. Jackie won the 1999 Appaloosa National Championship in the yearling stallion class, which spoke to the winning environment that Randy and Jackie created as a team when they worked together.
After returning to the Cullman area she began working at the Chamber of Commerce. This was on of the most enjoyable jobs of her life. She gave everything she could to ensure the Chamber was well represented in Cullman.
She enjoyed more than anything on this earth her time at home with her children. Molding them, listening to them, laughing with them and loving them. It was an honor and privilege to have her love and guidance throughout her life. Her family will now spend the rest of their lives living up to her expectations and trying to fill the void left by her sudden departure.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Robert White; children, Marnie (Steve) McClellan, Perrie (David) Elrod, and Shaun (Denise) Rigsby; grandchildren, Carson McClellan, Connor McClellan, Hunter Elrod, Matthew (Celeste) Rigsby; great grandchildren, Adabelle Rigsby and Ethan Rigsby; and a sister Polly Nuss.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vernie (Ratliff) Elliot.

Saturday June 13, 2020 at Lakeland Memorial Gardens in Lakeland, Florida.
Mr. Joles was born in Waycross, Georgia to the Late Arthur and Jenny Lee Joles and died at the age of 67 in Cullman, Alabama after an unexpected illness.
Mr. Joles is survived by his wife, Helen Joles; children, Bo "Sackey" Jr. (Rachel) Joles and Freda (Tom) Steel; grandchildren, Bo Joles, ZoE Joles, Jet Joles, Vegas Joles, Sundie Steel and Snow Steel; sister, Audrey Green; brother, Matthew Joles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Sackey Joles is also preceded in death by his son, Alfred "Fred" Cooper.

Mr. Summerville is survived by his wife, Myra Summerville; daughter, Lynndy (Billy) Carson; grandchildren, Katie Owens, Emily Owens, Brooklyn Carson, and Brodie Robertson; great grandchild, Paislee Simmons; sister, Collette, Chapman; close friends, Destry and Braden Holmes; and a host of extended family and friends.
Pop was a Vietnam Veteran who served our country in the Army, TN National Guard, and the Navy for a total of 30 years. He finished out his military career with many medals, achievements, and awards. Pop loves his country and his family above all.

Reverend Scott Guthery will be officiating. Visitation will be from 11 O'clock A.M. to 1 O'clock P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. McSwain passed away at the age of 86 on June 2, 2020.
Mary Welch was born on July 26, 1933 in Cullman, Alabama. She grew up in the Shelton Grove community in Cullman. She was the daughter of George and Mamie Welch and was a sister to seven siblings. On September 10, 1952 she married Elvin (Doc) McSwain and was a devoted mother to two daughters, Joan and Nina. Mary, along with her husband, owned and operated several businesses in Dodge City.
In her life, Mary Emily McSwain was known for many things. Gardens trimmed neatly and blooming bright. A welcoming home decorated to a T. She was never too busy for a visit from family or friends. Her artwork showing the love of her family, children, and grandchildren she painted with smiles and rosy cheeks. She played the piano, made porcelain dolls, and her kitchen stayed full of homemade goodies and treats. Mary was well known for all of these things, yet her disposition and character outshined them all. Always happy. Always sweet. Her smile and her laughter were contagious. Her strong faith showed through with grace and love for everyone. She was a delight and rare treasure. She will be deeply missed and wonderfully remembered.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Elvin (Doc) McSwain; her parents, George and Mamie Welch; her siblings, Ed Welch, Gilbert Welch, Clifford Welch, Tracy Welch; Eunice Welch, Catherine Welch, and Woodrow Welch.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Jerry) Lynn and Nina (Billy) Harvison; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, Jason (Mandi) Lynn, Jani Judkins, Trent (Brittany) Judkins, Clay Judkins; great grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn, Cody Lynn, Levi Lynn, Brody Lacey, Ben lacey, Olivia Drake, Madison Lambert, Brailey Judkins, Emma Judkins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Charles H. Loyd 67, of Eva will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home with Brother Matt Colburn officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. (Please follow social distancing recommendations). Charles died June 1st at his residence after an extended illness.
